General Terms and Conditions (GTC) and Terms of Use

1. Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "GTC") apply to the use of the website and services of Cashbite (hereinafter "Provider" or "we"), accessible under the domain cashbite.app.

By registering a user account, the user (hereinafter "User" or "you") agrees to these GTC.

2. Eligibility & Account

2.1 Minimum Age: The offer is aimed at persons who have completed their 16th year of age. By using the service, you confirm that you are old enough to enter into a legally binding contract.

2.2 One Account per Person/Household: Participation is limited to one account per natural person. We reserve the right to limit use to one account per household (IP address) to prevent abuse. Multi-accounting will result in immediate suspension and loss of credit balance.

2.3 Security Check: To prevent fraud, we reserve the right to automatically or manually check transactions and user activities for irregularities before a payout. In case of justified suspicion of manipulation, the payout may be withheld until clarification.

2.4 Password Security & Liability: The User is solely responsible for the security of their password and access data. The User is fully liable for all activities that occur under their account. Cashbite assumes no liability for losses (e.g., stolen credits) resulting from the disclosure of access data, phishing, or the choice of an insecure password.

3. Virtual Currency (Credits) & Legal Nature

3.1 Currency Value & No Cash Value: The internal currency of the platform is referred to as "Credits" (or "Coins"). The standard conversion rate is 1,000 Credits = $1.00 USD. We reserve the right to adjust this conversion rate for future tasks at any time. Credits do not represent electronic currency or real money. They have no monetary value until successfully exchanged via one of our official withdrawal methods.

3.2 Offerwalls (Third-Party Providers): Tasks are often provided by third-party providers ("Offerwalls"). A claim to points exists only if the third-party provider confirms the task as "successful" (Postback). Tracking errors by the third-party provider are not our responsibility.

4. Payouts & Taxes

4.1 Methods & Processing: Payouts are made via the methods currently offered on the website. Processing usually takes place within 30 minutes to 24 hours. We reserve the right to extend this period in the event of security checks.

4.2 Tax Responsibility: The User is solely responsible for taxing any income or monetary benefits generated through the use of Cashbite in accordance with the laws of their country of residence. Cashbite does not withhold taxes for the User.

4.3 Exchange Rate Fluctuations: For payout methods subject to market fluctuations (e.g., cryptocurrencies), the User bears the risk of changes in value between the time of the request and the actual execution.

4.4 Exclusion of Return and Cancellation: Redeemed rewards (e.g., sent voucher codes, executed crypto transfers, or game keys) are generally excluded from exchange, return, and cancellation. Once the payout process is completed or the digital code has been made accessible to the User, there is no right to a refund of the credits.

5. Prohibited Activities & Anti-Cheat Policy

To protect our system, the following activities will result in a permanent ban without payout:

• Use of VPNs, Proxies, or Tor browsers to disguise origin.
• Use of emulators or virtual machines.
• Use of bots, scripts, or automation software.
• Exploitation of bugs/errors in the system.
• Creation of fake leads (false information on Offerwalls).

6. Inactivity

Accounts that are inactive for a period of more than 6 months (no login) may be set to "inactive" status by the Provider. Existing point balances on inactive accounts may expire.

7. Sweepstakes and Competitions

For temporary promotions such as raffles, leaderboard competitions, or giveaways, the following principles apply unless otherwise stated for the specific promotion:

• Legal recourse is excluded.
• Prizes are not transferable to other users and cannot be exchanged for other currencies.
• Users who attempt to manipulate competitions through unfair means (e.g., bots, fake referrals) will be disqualified and permanently banned.

8. Community & Moderation (Digital Services Act - DSA)

8.1 Chat Rules: Respectful interaction is mandatory in the chat. Prohibited are: hate speech, insults, spam, pornographic content or content harmful to minors, advertising for other services, and begging.

8.2 Measures: We moderate content partly automatically and partly manually. In case of violations, we may delete contributions, block the chat (mute), or ban the account.

8.3 Complaints: Users can contest decisions via email to support@cashbite.app.

9. Intellectual Property & Scraping Ban

9.1 Copyright: The website, its design, logos, graphics, and the program code are the property of Cashbite or its licensors. Any duplication or use of this content without express permission is prohibited.

9.2 Scraping Ban: The systematic or automated extraction of data from this website (web scraping, data mining, crawling) as well as the copying of content using bots, readers, or similar software is expressly prohibited and will be prosecuted under civil and criminal law.

10. Liability & Indemnification

10.1 Liability: The Provider is liable only for intent and gross negligence. We assume no guarantee for technical disruptions or the availability of Offerwalls.

10.2 Indemnification: The User indemnifies Cashbite from all claims by third parties arising from unlawful use of the service by the User (e.g., copyright infringements in the chat or fraud on Offerwalls).

11. Final Provisions

11.1 Applicable Law: The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.

11.2 Severability Clause: Should a provision of these GTC be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain valid.
